Oh girl, there is a lie swirling about and we are cracking open this box.
Let’s get into it…

The lie has a name. It is called the business curriculum. And it was built by men, for men, inside companies run by men, globally like a virus that suddenly arrived and sold to a market that was completely assumed to be men.

Online funnels built on pressure and scarcity.

The social media content strategies built on performance.

Visibility frameworks that require you to shrink your truth to fit an algorithm, to get a few ‘likes’ maybe a comment or two, and when you thought you struck the new insider ‘secret’ it all changed ~ sigh~ overnight.

Income models that only work when you do.

You have been trying to graduate from a school, that was never designed to graduate any of us…

Think about it.

The industrial revolution gave us the assembly line.

It gave us the nine to five.

It gave us the idea that productivity is linear, that output equals worth, that more hours equals more value out. That framework was not built for human flourishing, to be centered, nor for our well-being.

It was built for factory output.

And then the internet came along and someone took that same industrial model and digitised it, new color of the exterior with the same content inside.

The performance era arrived and became the assembly line. The content calendar became the shift schedule. The launch became the quarterly quota.

Nobody stopped to ask whether any of it actually fit the way a woman thinks, creates, sells, or actually sustains herself.

"You were handed someone else's curriculum. No wonder you felt like you were failing a test you never agreed to take."

Here is what nobody in the online marketing world wanted to say out loud: the women who are winning right now are not winning because they finally cracked the male-built code.

Each one of us are winning because WE stopped trying to.

We are crafting our businesses from who WE are.

From how we think, in every angle, in all the rabbit holes we can dive into.

From the way our energy moves, our creativity flows, and how our relationships deepen.

From the 28-day cycle that nobody in Silicon Valley bothered to account for. From the nervous system that requires safety before it will produce anything worth selling.

That is not soft. That is not a woo woo New Age genre.

And most definitely not: sit pretty…

That is strategy.

What we are leaving behind.

  1. Funnel concepts built on pressure and scarcity that convert by cornering people

  2. Performance-based content strategies that require you to be on, always

  3. Visibility frameworks that only work when you shrink your truth to fit the algorithm

  4. Income models that stop the moment you do

Your three moves this week.

01 - Pull up one piece of content you have never published. The one you wrote and then decided was too much, too honest, too direct. Read it.

Ask yourself what rule you were following when you buried it.

02 - Name one framework you have been following blindly. One funnel, one posting schedule, one launch sequence you adopted because someone told you it worked.

Ask: Did someone who looks like you, lives like you, and sells like you actually build this…? Or did you just inherit it…?

03 - Feel the permission. You do not need a new strategy today. You need the felt sense that the rules were never yours to follow in the first place. Sit with that. Let it land.

Go deeper with Oraya.

Issue 01 cracked open the curriculum lie. Now take it into Oraya, a business lens built specifically for women, and ask her to audit the frameworks you have been building inside. What to keep. What to burn.

What to rebuild on your own terms.

Next week in Utopia: The grind is not a badge. It is a bill.

We are reading the receipt out loud.

Welcome to Utopia.

This is not about doing more. It is about doing the right things, in your own way, built for how you actually work. The curriculum was never yours.

But the lifestyle you create from here?

That one is.

See ya soon~ Lisa Anne
